Day 01 : Jammu Arrival - Katra (60 Kms/ 2 Hrs)

Early morning on arrival at Jammu airport or station, pickup by our cab and transfer to Katra. Check in at you hotel with welcome drink. Later proceed to Katra helipad to catch the chopper and fligh to Sanjhichhat by Helicopter. Later continue 2-3 Kms yatr to Vaishno devi temple by foot or horse (own cost). After Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan back to Sanjhichhat to catch your return Chopper. Evening is free for shopping at Katra Market. Overnight stay at Hotel in Katra

Day 02 : Jammu Dept.

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Jammu airport or station as per your schedule towards your further journey/hometown

Air : Jammu is the nearest airport from Katra. Katra is about 60 kilometres from the Jammu Airport and it will take about 1:30 hrs time by Taxi

Tain: You can reach Katra Railway Statioin by Train. The Katra station is about 2 kms from the Katra Market.

Bus: You can reach Katra by Bus, which operate regularly.

How can I reach Mata Vaishno Devi Temple

Helicopter : You can start Vaishno Devi Yatra by Helicopter, which can be booked online in advance (60 Days before from the Yatra date).

Pony/Pithoo/Palki: You can hire a Pony/Pithoo/Palki from Banganga directly.

Walk: You can start your Yatra by Simply Walk also.

What is the Price of Helicopter Tickets or Pony/Pithoo/Palki

Helicopter : with Cost of Rs. 2010 for both side(Katra-Sanjhi-Katra) and Rs. 1005 for one way(Katra - Sanjhi or Sanjhi - Katra)

Pony/Pithoo/Palki: You can direct hire at Banganga and price is not fix, so you have to bargain for it

Walk: You also can start your Yatra by Simply Walk

You can visit any time (12 Months) to Mata Vaishno Devi but April to June is the rush time due to summer holidays. Most of yatri visit to Mata Vaishno Devi in Navratri
